I listen and I remember

Remember when we were chatting about fairs, what your mum liked and what you liked? You said you liked the Helter Skelter. I remembered because I listen. I listen because I'm interested in everything about you. I remember because when you're not here with me my memories bring you back.

For you I have so many words

For a fiver or so he'll write what he thinks you want to hear. Anything that brings poetry or literature of any kind to a wider audience is to be applauded in my mind. But...
I'd never written a poem until I met you and then I really wanted to, needed to. I'd never felt such emotions before, never felt it was the right thing to do, but you opened me up, you gave me so many reasons to be. You are probably the poet, I'm just the response to your love.
